Updates!

Well it has been quite a while since we have posted anything on our blog! Don't worry we haven't given up on blogging yet! We just didn't have time to get too much done at the end of the winter. Now that it is spring and nice weather we have seen a lot of progress around our home!

These first 3 pictures are my attempts at gardening. I have planted some Dahlias (green pot), Trumpet Lillies (blue pot), and a tomato plant. Last year I had no luck with the tomato plant....we'll see how this year goes! :)

This picture is Rich using a wet saw to cut our patio blocks! While I have complete confidence in his sawing skills, I was very nervous the entire time! I had the car backed out of the garage, the keys in the car, my phone in my pocket, and Rich knew exactly where he needed to go to find me. ( I told him "I'll be in the garage sweeping out my garage stall, if anything should happen come get me right away, but don't go through the house....we have tan carpet!") The sad thing about the whole story is that he may have had to drive himself to the ER if anything would have happened becuase I would have been crying hysterically and trying not to pass out the whole time. :S
Here is our almost finished patio! It is a blessing that Rich has been doing landscaping for the past few years. Rich was able to lay this himself, which saved us a lot of money! I may be biased, but I think he's done a great job!! I am so excited to get patio furniture and have friends and family over when it gets a little warmer!

This picture is of some shelves in our garage that Rich made for me becuase I wanted them so badly! Isn't he just the handiest guy?

This grass was planted a few days after my parents came out and helped us till and weed the back yard! What a task that was!! This was planted about 2 weeks after the front yard was planted! We are hoping to see lots of growth soon!!

Our Front yard Grass. The Boulevard looks very long becuase we had planted some grass there late summer before we moved in becuase we wanted to see if it would take, then we seeded again, too late in the fall and not much grass grew, and we have seeded once this spring and its growing in nicely. The grass up closer to our house is starting to grow really nicely too. Now all we need is a lawn mower!!

A new wall in our basement. This wall is our laundry room wall as well as a back wall to our living room.

We now have steps down from our deck!! Many thanks to my very handy father in law, brother in law, and husband!!

Thats it for now!! Hope to update again soon!!
